Kathmandu, Resham Nepking is a committed agriculture technician and social development practitioner with extensive experience in community-based agricultural development, livelihood enhancement, and grassroots project implementation. With a strong foundation in sustainable agriculture and rural development, he has demonstrated the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including farmer groups, local governments, development organizations, and vulnerable communities. His work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening rural livelihoods, promoting climate-resilient and regenerative farming practices, and fostering inclusive community growth through practical, field-based interventions.
Over the course of his professional career, Resham has contributed to multiple development initiatives implemented by national and international organizations. His experience includes delivering technical training and on-site coaching to farmers, facilitating the adoption of improved and sustainable agricultural practices, and promoting livelihood diversification through enterprises such as mushroom cultivation, poultry farming, vermicomposting, and off-season vegetable production. Through these interventions, he has supported rural households in enhancing agricultural productivity, improving food security, and building resilient and sustainable income sources.
Resham also brings strong expertise in project coordination, community mobilization, and stakeholder engagement. He has successfully facilitated farmer training programs, including entrepreneurship-focused initiatives such as Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB), and has played an active role in the distribution and effective utilization of agricultural inputs, tools, and technologies. In addition, he has been involved in monitoring and supporting infrastructure development projects such as irrigation systems, biogas installations, and community-based environmental initiatives, ensuring proper implementation, sustainability, and alignment with project goals.

In his previous roles, including as Field Supervisor and Agriculture Technician with development organizations in Surkhet, Resham led participatory community assessments, facilitated group formation, and conducted capacity-building training in vegetable farming, tunnel farming, livestock management, and environmental conservation. He also contributed to roadside plantation campaigns and public infrastructure development, including the installation of dustbins and resting stations, while strengthening community engagement and local coordination mechanisms.
Beyond his technical responsibilities, Resham is deeply engaged in social and humanitarian service. He has actively contributed to disaster relief efforts during floods and earthquakes, provided emergency support during the COVID-19 pandemic, and assisted vulnerable populations with shelter, food, and medical aid. He has also supported indigenous communities, including the Raute community, and participated in environmental conservation campaigns and educational support initiatives for disadvantaged students.
